Bill is a native Southern Californian and earned his bachelor’s degree in accounting from the University of San Diego. As Portfolio Property Manager for the Gildred Companies, he brings 30+ years of managerial and financial experience in Commercial Real Estate and has a penchant for relationship building. At Gildred, he is responsible for overseeing the company’s entire San Diego portfolio of industrial and office properties. His real estate management role includes fostering relationships with tenants and vendors, initiating capital projects to enhance property value, creating annual budgets, managing operational expenses, and preparing financial reports.

Bill brings valuable experience from his previous role as Senior Property Manager with NewMark Merrill Companies where he managed a large portfolio of single and multiple tenant retail and industrial properties. Prior to that, he worked in the government sector as Asset Manager for the Unified Port of San Diego where he was responsible for managing ground-leased properties including hotels, marinas, boatyards, restaurants, and mixed-use retail centers.
Bill loves spending time with his 3 adult children and friends. He enjoys the beautiful San Diego weather while hiking, mountain biking, playing pickleball, and riding dirt bikes on occasion. In his free time, he also enjoys volunteering and is learning to play acoustic guitar.
