Jessica Vega has over 20 years of experience in accounting and financial management. As Controller for the Gildred Companies, she plays a key role in the organization’s financial operations. As part of her responsibilities managing and overseeing financial processes, Jessica handles monthly closing procedures to ensure accurate financial reporting, analyzes overhead expenses for cost efficiency, and manages the company’s fixed assets. Jessica brings a wealth of knowledge and expertise to her role.

Before her current position, Jessica was the Accounting Manager and Controller at GKN Aerospace Engine Systems. Additionally, as the Treasury Director at Emerald Textiles, she led numerous ERP system implementations and managed all accounting teams in addition to managing cash for multiple locations.

Outside of work, Jessica enjoys traveling and learning new languages and the history of the cultures she visits. She is also an avid hiker and enjoys the many trails around San Diego County and while traveling.
